Last Saturday, April 2nd was World Autism Day, making April is Autism Acceptance Month. This time each year, we promote autism awareness to assure that all affected by autism are able to achieve the highest quality of life possible. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) affects approximately 1 in 44 children in the USA according to the CDC in 2021. Despite its prevalence, still so much is unknown about Autism, which is why raising awareness and funds for research is crucial.
