Since 1970, Native Americans and our supporters have gathered at noon on Cole's Hill in Plymouth to commemorate a National Day of Mourning on the US thanksgiving holiday. Many Native Americans do not celebrate the arrival of the Pilgrims and other European settlers. Join us as directors of campus-wide LGBTQ centers from universities and colleges speak about how they initiated their programs, what has been successful, and what they found challenging in the process. The event will serve as an example of best practices in building LGBTQ programs and highlight how campuses can develop or improve their own programming.
