Bio

Paulita David head shotPaulita David is a startup advisor, long-time new media executive, speaker and Multicultural expert. Best known for building new businesses at Google, Paulita made the leap to Strategic Advising and Entrepreneur in 2017.

 

Paulita brings deep understanding of multicultural consumers, including what motivates them, what matters most to them, and how they live in America today.  A passionate advocate for Multiculturals and women, Paulita speaks frequently about Multicultural Marketing, Women and Latinx executives in Tech, digital media and career building.  Additionally, she advises startups on marketing, sales, strategy and brand building.  

 

Paulita spent a decade at Google, most recently as Head of US Multicultural, where she worked with prominent brands, helping them make impactful connections with today’s increasing diverse consumers. She also led Google’s efforts to inspire and educate multicultural consumers and connect them more closely with the brands they love. Paulita put Multicultural on the map for Google and for the Industry, dramatically changing how Google approached this consumer base. Under her leadership, she founded the U.S. Multicultural Consumer team to focus on helping companies engage with the Hispanic, Black, Asian American and the LGBTQ community. Paulita built a global sales team devoted to offering dedicated in-language support across all of Google platforms--from YouTube to search and display. Today, Fortune 500 clients, and dozens of agencies, use the programs Paulita's team created to launch their latest multicultural campaigns. These organizations now reach their consumers in the language they prefer, and during the moments that matter most.  

 

Previously, Paulita led a sales team focused on IAC, one of Google’s largest partners. She also ran Strategy & Operations for the Americas Sales Team, and Google’s internal creative agency known as Creative lab. Prior to Google, Paulita led a global strategy team at the Seiden Group, a marketing and brand strategy agency.  Paulita was honored in 2017 with the She Runs It, Changing the Game Award for Paradigm Shift.

 

Paulita graduated cum laude with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from Northwestern University. She lives in New York City with her husband and three children.
