Patricia Boyle McKenna is the Senior Director Network and Operational Technology for Harvard University Information Technology. In her role as Senior Director, Patricia is responsible for Network and Operational Technologies that support the University’s mission of teaching, learning and research. Patricia leads two teams of fifty-three members who provide foundational technology and support to over 50,000 end users across Harvard and manages HUIT’s network and building technology activities. Her team comprises Engineering Architects, Applications Engineers and Technical Support Engineers who build, monitor and maintain the University’s building operations and wireless and wired networks.

Prior to HUIT, Patricia held the role of Interim Chief Information Office for the city of Boston. Prior to that role, she was the Chief of Staff of the City’s Department of Innovation and Technology and the Program Director of the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics. She is also the mother of three amazing young women.
