Joan Moon is a full-time management consultant and founder of Moon Negotiation, LLC. She is the Head of Negotiation Coaching at the Kennedy School Negotiation Project (KSNP) where she currently leads the Negotiation Coaching Clinic and a former Fellow at the Women and Public Policy Program (WAPPP) at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) where she led the Career Negotiation Coaching Program. Joan earned her Master in Public Policy at HKS where she worked with various negotiation faculty members. Before coming to HKS, Joan was a Teach for America corps member and taught for seven years at a traditional public school in the Bronx. Joan earned her Master of Science in Education from Hunter College. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Emory University where she double-majored in Sociology and Education.

"Successful Negotiation Strategies for Women" is a workshop that will provide an overview of the research on gender and negotiation, bust some negotiation myths, and provide practical strategies for women to navigate bias in their career negotiations. No prior negotiation understanding is necessary.
