Leading scholars in public health, the history of medicine, and African American Studies will join Professor Evelynn M. Hammonds in conversations about the historical and contemporary impact of epidemic diseases on African American communities in the United States. This week's guest is Paul Farmer, MD, Ph.D. is the Kolokotrones University Professor and the Chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School; and Chief of the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston.
