Women, indeed, are the future of robotics. Come here to find out why, and how you can get involved as a young woman! Attend this incredible event to hear from world-renowned roboticists at MIT, learn about the impact women have made on the field, walk through an amazing MIT robotics lab, and gain exposure to the possibilities held in robotics.

Robotics have the potential to impact all of our world. Recent scientific advancements have enabled amazing capabilities of today’s robots. For instance, Boston Dynamics’ Atlas robot can backflip! At MIT are some of the world’s premier roboticists, and they are extremely excited by these achievements. However, many have also noticed a consistent phenomenon: the extreme gender gap. For example, in the 2015 DARPA Robotics challenge, only 23 of the 444 robot builders were women. 94.8% of the participants were men. We hope to discuss this disparity and talk about how to move past it.
