I chose to volunteer with WIT+ because I wanted to become part of something larger within the Harvard community. WIT+ hosts some incredible events and provides a variety of resources surrounding DIB, and I really felt I needed to be part of this effort. Being a member of WIT+ has truly expanded my knowledge of DIB and has made me a better ally. I love this group because I always feel like I can bring my authentic self to the table.
