I graduated with a Bachelor’s in History in 2011 and got my first job after college working in higher ed at a proprietary school. In 2014, I came to Harvard for a temporary position as a Billing Coordinator in the Student Receivables Office, which became a permanent position, and I enrolled in courses at the Harvard Extension School to work towards my Master’s in Business Management. In 2015, I transitioned to a Business Analyst in the same office which prompted my interest in SQL and learning more about the student information system. I moved into a Business Systems Analyst role in HUIT in 2017, and in 2018 I became a PeopleSoft Developer and graduated from the Extension school with my Master’s. I participated as a mentee in the program last year and really enjoyed it, so I love getting to be a part of the group that makes this available for others now!
