Erica Orthmann, author of “Cracking The Girl Code In Math And Science” and Vice President of LaunchSquad, discussed”The Power of Storytelling to Change the Equation.” Slideshare

Bio: Erica Orthmann is a vice president at LaunchSquad, a PR and content marketing agency for technology startups. Outside of her day job, she is a writer and passionate advocate on the issue getting more women involved in technology careers. A few months ago, she wrote a piece for WBUR about how positive female mentors can flip the script on negative stereotypes about women in math and science. In October, she’s hosting an event for students and professionals at the Microsoft NERD Center, which highlights top Boston female mentors through their own first-hand accounts of how they got to where they are today.
