The current racial awakening following the murders of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, and other Black Americans has caused many higher ed institutions to consider how they can actively work to reduce and eliminate discrimination, including in the language they use.

During this thought-provoking conversation, three panelists will share efforts that are underway on their campuses, and together we will explore alternatives to oppressive terminology embedded in our websites, code repositories and beyond.
