The pandemic has disproportionately impacted women globally, erasing decades of hard-earned gender gap narrowing. MIT Solve and its community of cross-sector partners has been committed to supporting women as founders and as beneficiaries since inception. 52% of our startups are women-led. This past year, we saw them responding to the extraordinary shocks with great enterprise, agility, and optimism. For a sustained recovery, investing in women entrepreneurs is an imperative.
In honor of International Women’s Day and the launch of Solve’s 2021 Global Challenges, please join us for a roundtable discussion on opportunities to support women entrepreneurs as they tackle our world’s greatest challenges, and close the glaring gap of capital invested in women-led startups. You’ll hear from founders sharing their experiences on the most exciting innovations, and from funders investing in women-led enterprises across the funding spectrum.
